Promote Health and Wellness, Not Disease and Illness
Are you tired of just managing your symptoms without any resolution?
Or are you a Seeker, longing to find meaning and purpose in your life? Would you like to change the emptiness you feel inside?
Pain, anxiety and PTSD are still the most common and most difficult conditions in all of medicine until NOW. Finally there have been huge advancements in the treatment and healing of these conditions with the discovery that along with a dysregulated nervous system and a high ACE Score, there are Biopsychosocial factors that affect systemic healing and we finally have a way to integrate that. If there is no incorporation and we leave out any of those components, genuine healing will be incomplete.
Are You Experiencing Pain, PTSD, Anxiety or Repetitive Injuries?
The Physical Component – Degeneration, tight and/or strained muscle, shortened fascia, knots, change in posture, pinched nerve, muscle weakness, spasms, loss of balance, trigger points, etc.
The Psychological / Mental Component – Our thoughts, our belief system and our story.
The Social Component – How we interact with stress, our family, our environment and our life skills.
The Emotional Component – We now know that the parts in the brain that handle the emotional center (Amygdala) and memory center (Hippocampus) can turn up the volume to pain and has so much to do with the pain we feel.
The Spiritual Component – Man’s search for meaning and purpose. Do you know that when you have meaning and purpose in your life you are almost impervious to pain, aging and disease?

How Can We Help You?
Understanding Pain in Less Than 5 Minutes
...And What to Do About It.
With all of the latest developments in brain science and imaging, we now better understand what makes certain therapies work and why others do not.
While a lot of therapies just deal with either the neuromuscular/biomechanicals or the psychological aspects of the condition, Unified Therapy™ works to address all of the variables and incorporates multiple techniques based on a variety of therapies to promote physical and psychological healing.
Unified Therapy™ can be integrated with and complements other therapy treatments including acupuncture, chiropractic and psychotherapy. No single process, technique or mindful practice could offer more.

Types of Clients
We find there are several types of clients who benefit from the healing practice of Jim Fazio and Unified Therapy™.
The first stages of healing are the people with:
Pain Disorders, Trauma and Anxiety – people who have found minimal relief through traditional or other alternative treatments. Includes people who deal with PTSD, panic attacks, past abuse, and other emotional pain such as grief or depression.
Rehabilitative – those recovering from surgeries, car accidents, joint replacements, or new and reoccurring injuries that did not heal properly. Provides support for those receiving pre and post cancer treatments and helps support addiction recovery.
The advanced stages are the people who are seeking:
Prevention – reversing the process that led to ill health, rebuild what was lost and rebalance to prevent further ill health. Minimize the accumulative effects of stressors (ex: from family, work, overwhelming events or diagnoses). Overcome recurring health problems and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
Lifestyle, Wellness and Higher States of Consciousness – supports those that are on the spiritual quest who seek purpose, meaning, and more direction in life and develop tools to address not only the physiological but the psychological aspects of stress.

Healing Pain, PTSD, Anxiety or Repetitive Injuries
When it comes to musculoskeletal pain, experts agree that pains of all kind – physical, psychological and emotional – have more to do with how the brain processes pain - how it is expressed and the intensity of it - rather than the pain you feel in your neck, back, or hip. This has led to exciting developments in the healing arts.
One person could have pain and another have NO pain even with the SAME diagnoses, MRI or X-rays based on how their brain processes pain. Why is this?
Over time, our brain and body response to repressed stress or unreleased trauma becomes set into a pattern and if you don't change the physiology and neurology, then you tend to recreate the pain from one area to another. Stress held in the neck can move to the back or hip, or show up as sleeplessness, irritability, moodiness, anxiety, depression or digestive disorders or get converted into other medical conditions.
The psycho/social part of chronic pain affects biology and is being controlled by those mechanisms. No matter how many vitamins, how much you exercise, yoga and meditation you do, you are not going to change it if you don't make that direct connection.
"Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity". ~ Hippocrates
These advanced stages of Unified Healing Therapy™ aren't just meant for aches and pains – it has been shown that more frequent visits develop a better brain. Just like more exercise and good nutrition develops better fitness, a better and more developed brain opens up new pathways in your brain that give you better coping skills to handle stress, recover quicker and help the body, mind and brain heal.
