In Loving Memory

Jim Fazio, age 51, of Melbourne, Florida transitioned from this world on Friday, December 31, 2021, after a battle with cancer.

Highly skilled in a hands-on therapeutic approach with a true intention to heal others, Jim dedicated his life to the healing arts.

As a multi-disciplinary Neuromuscular and Myofascial Therapist, Jim was the owner of Integrative Bodywork, Inc in Rockledge, FL.  For over 26 years in private practice, Jim has been helping people recover from pain, anxiety, sports and work-related injuries, and the life-changing emotional assaults of childhood trauma.  Helping clients to learn how and understand what healing really is. To become more confident, able to express their selves, live their purpose.

We are eternally grateful for his special gift. Jim touched and changed many lives over the years and his legacy lives within those he helped and treated in his practice.

Jim led a truly meaningful life.

Unified Therapy™

A New and Promising Model for Healing
Pain Disorders, Anxiety, PTSD
Sports Injuries

We are not only physical beings but emotional and spiritual beings, and if we don’t heal the whole self, we pay the price in the form of chronic pain, anxiety, depression, dysfunctional relationships, lifelong feelings of general malaise, and even chronic diseases.

An accomplished Therapist, Jim utilized a variety hands-on therapies, such as Active Myofascial Release, Graston Technique, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure Points, and Trager Approach.

In 2006, Jim began working with Dr Paul Canali of the Evolutionary Healing Institute in Miami; learning the principles and techniques of Unified Therapy™, developed by Dr Paul.  This therapeutic approach quickly became the cornerstone of Jim’s work, promoting health and wellness, not disease and illness, by activating the Brain~Body~Mind Connection that promotes systemic healing.

Jim became an instructor at the Healing Weekend Workshops presented by Dr Paul, teaching the principles of this unique therapy.  In honor of Jim’s work in Unified Therapy™, Dr Paul has established the Jim Fazio Memorial Scholarship for selected participants to attend these workshops.

We encourage you to look though our website to see how you may benefit from this therapy and learn about healing chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and more.

We have included many educational articles and videos along with various book/reading suggestions to help you learn about the body’s amazing abilities to heal – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We are not meant to heal alone.

~ Jim

Jim was a vital part of my Healthcare Team as he cared for me through my own cancer journey.  Through Unified Therapy™, Jim kept my ANS balanced and strong – my bloodwork was always fantastic much to my oncologist’s delight.

In addition to working with Jim, my oncologist also recommended I enroll in Complementary Cancer Care’s Mind~Body classes to enhance my holistic approach to treatments.  I continue to take – and feel the benefits of – Yoga, Tai Chi, and Breath & Meditation classes.

When Jim was diagnosed, Complementary Cancer Care helped us with support and resources.  For anyone touched by cancer, I highly recommend the services – support groups, mind~body classes, creative expression classes, educational workshops, resources, and more – offered by Complementary Cancer Care.

Blessings,
Mary P

The Relationship with Your Mind, Brain, and Body

Are You Experiencing Pain, PTSD, Anxiety or Repetitive Injuries?

Are you tired of just managing your symptoms or are you dealing with unresolved illnesses? Have you ever wondered why your symptoms resist traditional and alternative treatment approaches and just never get any resolution?

Then Unified Therapy™ is for you!

Research shows that unreleased pain, anxiety, toxic stress, trauma, and PTSD affects not only the body and the brain, but the ability to heal pain, repetitive injuries, anxiety, and even depression.  It is one of the major foundations for illness and disease.

“Every human has a true authentic self. Trauma is the disconnection from it and healing is the reconnection to it.”
“Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside you as a result of what happened to you.”

-Dr. Gabor Maté

How Can Unified Therapy™ Help You?

The Brain-Body-Mind approach called Unified Therapy™, activates a natural, Homeostatic Stress Releasing Healing Reflex™ that addresses the etiology, rather than simply managing and treating symptoms.  It not only has the capacity to treat multiple conditions at once, but also prevents vulnerability to future occurrences.

No single process, technique or mindful practice could offer more.

Jim Fazio, LMT, CSI, UTP, specialized in treating people who have not been receptive to traditional and alternative pain therapies and successfully treated not only acute musculoskeletal conditions, but he was experienced and had extensive knowledge in treating the effects of:

~~  Physical and Emotional Pain

~~  Anxiety & Panic Attacks

~~  TMJ (jaw pain) and Bruxism (teeth grinding)

~~  PTSD/Trauma

~~  Depression

~~  Sleep Disorders

~~  Functional Neurological Disorder

~~  Treats Comorbid (multiple) Conditions Concurrently

~~  Post-Surgical Discomfort

~~  Recurring Health Problems, Medical Mistreatment & Injuries

~~  Sports and Other Chronic/Repetitive Injuries

Do you know that neck, back, and stomach pain and strange medical conditions are also
related to the same mechanisms that create anxiety?

How Is Unified Therapy™ Different from Other Healing Therapies?

Unified Therapy™ is the only known toxic stress, anxiety, and pain therapy that allows active participation in the healing process and makes people conscious and aware of the things that generate pain. While a lot of modalities/techniques just deal only with the physical or the psychological aspects to dampen symptoms, Unified Therapy™ incorporates multiple techniques based on a variety of therapies, teaching you to release all kinds of physical and emotional pain to promote systemic healing.

We have found that in addition to a dysregulated nervous system and a high ACE Score, there are also Biopsychosocial factors that affect systemic healing.  All factors must be addressed and Unified for genuine healing to take place.
